Much has happened within the last month and I have been a poor blogger. However, when things get busy, somehow this moves down on the list of priorities.
Our cousin Christopher came here from Utah for a weekend for tests, drove home on Sunday, and then drove all the way back here a few days later to spend the week studying here so that he could take a test on Friday. We have been having a wonderful time with him and enjoy every minute that we are able to spend.
While he was here we had our Spring Bible Conference. Dr. Varner from Master's Seminary came and spoke on the Messiah in the Old Testament. He focused on Genesis, which he called the seedbed of the Bible, and the clues that it provided as to the identity of the promised Messiah. The messages were wonderful. We were able to have him over for dinner on Tuesday night and we had a lot of fun visiting with him.
We have begun gardening. Tomatoes are over an inch high in our laundry room. Peas are sprouting up and the onions are covering over half of a mound.
It is a beautiful Spring and we are all enjoying our first spring in the country.

Thanks for the pictures and the update, Charae! Love your mom all covered in mud! ;-)
I miss you guys already. Talk about busy Charae: spring bible conference, homeschool conference, taking care of 2 dogs and an injured cat, 3 visits from friends, Jonathon's Birthday, dinner for 12 every night (at least), etc...my head is still spinning! That was a fun trip! I cannot wait to see you again. Love, Chris
Hello Charae,
My siblings and I noticed that in one of your very first posts that your family went to Multnomah Falls after church. Do live near the falls? Where does your family go to church? We live near all the falls and we’ve noticed on your blog that your family has been to many places we have also been to!

Hi Charae: Great pics but why didn't you have Nana and me in any of them? I can tell where I am on your list! I hope it isn't at the bottom because we are already planning a surprise trip and you better be ready!!! Keep the coffee hot and don't forget my favorite mug.
Hello Charae,
Thank you for your comment on our blog (I didn’t publish it). Wow! Your family lives about 45 min. away from us! We have been to the sister church of your family’s church and have thought about visiting your church (maybe we will soon). We just found out that our friends know your family so maybe we will run into you all someday! We’d love to meet you!
In Christ,
~Shiloh
Thanks for the pictures, Charae! Your home and property are so lovely. =)
Blessings,
Lucia
